On December 10, 2025, we had the honour to host Em. Prof. Dr. Ruth Wodak as a speaker for our bi-yearly keynote. On that evening, Ruth introduced us to her research on the normalization of far-right discourse. From tracing the social and historical patterns that allow such narratives to become popular to offering reflections on possible countermeasures, Ruth gave us plenty to think about. In the end, the floor was opened to a Q&A session, which invited further discussion on the broader implications for civil society and democratic dialogue.
