The NGO Academy offers  four different programmes to our Member Organisations: the Regional Programme, the Social Innovation and Management Programme, the Master in Social Innovation and Management and the Community-Led Events.

Social Innovation and Management Programme

The Social Innovation and Management Programme is a comprehensive, modular programme combining practice orientation with a solid base of expert knowledge.  Each year, one edition of the programme is implemented, consisting of a group of 25 managers and leading staff members.

Each edition is structured in three compulsory modules each of them lasting one week and taking place in Vienna in English language. The programme stretches out over a timeframe of five months (February – June), enabling participants to work on a course project in between modules.

A separate application is necessary, with the application phase usually taking place around October. All necessary information is sent out by us accordingly.

Regional Programme

The Regional Programme is a topic-centred programme, focusing on strengthening management competencies of non-profit managers and staff members, taking into consideration their local context and needs for further development.

Throughout the semester, independent webinars, workshops and coaching experiences, lasting usually between one and four days, are provided to the NGO Academy Network in six languages. These elective offers are taking place in a variety of locations in Central and Eastern Europe and online.

The Regional Programme is open to all staff of our Member Organisations and does not require a separate application. However, it is required to register for the offers at the beginning of each semester.

Community-Led Events

Community-Led Events (CLEs) promote exchange and collaboration among NGO Academy Member Organisations and other organisations in Central and Eastern Europe. They are a unique opportunity to tap into the potential of learning from each other and of attainig common objectives by creating synergies and alliances.

A CLE is organised by an NGO Academy Member Organisation for at least two other participating members with the purpose of networking and knowledge transfer. In a call for application, NGO Academy members can apply for financial support for an either closed or public activity.

MSc Social Innovation and Management

The MSc in Social Innovation & Management is a fully accredited programme designed to accelerate the understanding of the current core dimensions of social innovation and management. The program equips a multinational group of participants with current state-of-the-art knowledge, methods, tools, techniques and skills to further develop their innovation and management capacities at all levels.
