The NGO Academy was founded in 2013 with the goal of strengthening the civil society sector in Central and Eastern Europe by providing further educational opportunities.
The NGO Academy offers capacity building programmes with a strong focus on building and strengthening a network of CSO practitioners in Central and Eastern Europe.
Each programme focuses on the further development of management competences and addresses a variety of related topics. They are clustered into four categories.
The existence of a vivid civil society is an indicator of well-functioning democracies that give space to the full variety of different opinions, concerns and solutions. Monitoring and evaluating challenges and opportunities in the region is key.

I have been working in the civil sector for 30 years. I have to admit that in all this time I have never felt the support and recognition that NGO leaders have received in the last couple of months during the Social Innovation and Management Program of the NGO Academy in Vienna. We had great professors and experts with decades of relevant experience to support us to become better leaders and civil sector boosters in our countries.
